[post_ads]An angler, who was fishing atop a circular skiff, was freaked out when a shark approached her and ate the fish caught on the line. According to Lexis Chancey, the incident took place earlier this week off Stuart, Florida.
Lexis, the 20-year-old daughter of Ben Chancey of the online fishing show “Chew On This,” was fishing when the shark suddenly emerged out of nowhere scaring the young woman. The video, which captured the moment, shows Lexis continuously screaming as the bull shark chased its meal and finally managed to snatch it and snap the fishing line.
Ben told BNQT there were at least three bull sharks in the area causing havoc with the anglers when the video was taken. The one that attacked Lexis’ fish was estimated at being 7 1/2-foot-long.
“She freaked out but persevered through the chaos,” Ben told BNQT. “It’s crazy.”
Encounters with sharks don't often go down well as in many cases humans are attacked by the sharks. In another report this week, a video was said to be showing a California kayaker coming in close contact with a great white shark that swam up next to his kayak. The incident took place Monday off the coast of Monterey.

The man, identified as Eddy Willis, said this was a memorable moment for him as the shark swam away after approaching him twice.
In another viral video, a great white shark was caught on camera chasing two fishermen kayaking off the coast of Australia. The two men panicked when they saw the massive predator behind them. In this case too, the fishermen were unharmed.
